Jungle Pam and Jungle Jim were not only outstanding racers, but also performers. Their energetic presence on the track garnered large fans and left an indelible impression. Unfortunately, tragedy struck in 1977 when Jungle Jim died in an automobile accident. Pam retired from racing after his sad demise. However, she is still a beloved character among drag racing fans, and her contributions to the sport will be remembered forever.
Although Jungle Pam’s career in drag racing was brief, her influence can still be seen today. She is an icon that personifies the joyful and bright attitude of drag racing in the 1970s. People admire her for the thrill she brought to the races and her own sense of flair.
