Both royal women dressed in traditional black to honor the fallen. She accessorized with her signature four-strand pearl necklace featuring a diamond clasp, reportedly valued at £50,000.
Princess Catherine paid tribute to her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana, by wearing the Collingwood pearl earrings once belonging to her. She also honored her grandfather, Peter Middleton, by donning his Royal Air Force gold winged brooch.
As the service progressed, both women appeared visibly moved while singing the national anthem and watching wreaths being laid at the Cenotaph.
