“Future King”: Prince George’s Sudden Crave Forces Superyacht Crew To Make Pit Stop In Greek Isles

Part 2 of 2

The Mystery Meal Sparks Local Speculation

According to a source speaking to the Daily Mail, the royal yacht was making its way south between Kefalonia and Zakynthos when George made his food request.

The insider shared: “George required a specific dietary item, which led to the tender going ashore in Zakynthos to purchase it. Nothing extravagant, just something particular.”

Greek locals believe they’ve solved the mystery. Many suspect George was after McDonald’s, as Zakynthos happens to be one of the few Greek islands with the fast-food chain.

The Greek City Times echoed the rumor, reporting that the tender boat headed to Laganas, a town on Zakynthos, to fulfill what they described as the young prince’s “fast-food desire.”

Online reactions were mixed—some skeptical, others amused. “I really don’t think George sent the boat lol!” one person joked. Another quipped, “Even royalty needs a maccies when in Greece,” recalling their own fast-food cravings.

Meanwhile, School Decisions Loom

This playful headline arrives as the family navigates more serious matters—namely, selecting George’s next school.

Though Eton College, the alma mater of many British royals and prime ministers, was widely expected to be the pick, the decision remains unconfirmed. The school’s headmaster, Simon Henderson—nicknamed “Trendy Hendy” for his progressive leadership—has been on a six-month leave, reportedly due to a controversial reform agenda.

A place at Eton has reportedly already been secured for George, but his parents have yet to finalize their commitment.
