Meirivone Rocha Moraes, a 37-year-old woman from Brazil, made headlines worldwide due to her extraordinary marriage. What made her wedding so unconventional? The person she chose to marry—a life-sized ragdoll named Marcelo.

Now, the couple’s unique story has grown even more surprising. Meirivone and Marcelo are reportedly parents to three children: their 1-year-old son, Marcelinho, and newborn twin daughters, Marcela and Emilia.

According to Meirivone, their family life is just as complex as that of any other parents. She frequently shares updates about their lives on TikTok, where she reveals how she and Marcelo share their parenting duties equally. Marcelo, however, takes on the main responsibility for worrying about the family’s finances.

Raising children has not been easy for Meirivone. She shared, “It’s not easy, but at the same time, I get emotional every moment, every second.”

She explained how demanding daily life has been since the arrival of their twins. “Marcelo and I have a lot of tasks with the new babies, as well as looking after our first child. And even when I’m tired, he helps me bathe, eat, and sleep.”

Despite the challenges, she says it’s all worth it, as Marcelo always wanted a family. “Despite his concerns, he always dreamed of having a family and children, so this is all he ever wished for,” Meirivone said.

The couple now has a new goal in mind—owning their own home. “My dream now is to own my own house,” Meirivone revealed. “Since our wedding in 2018, I’ve been scouring the internet every day. I won’t give up,” the determined mother of three explained.

However, their relationship has not been without its difficulties. Like any couple, they’ve faced their fair share of problems. In June 2023, Meirivone revealed that Marcelo had been unfaithful—again. As punishment, she made him sleep on the couch and removed his genitalia as a consequence.

Their struggles didn’t stop there. Earlier in February 2023, their son Marcelinho was kidnapped, with the kidnappers demanding a $200 ransom. Fortunately, Marcelinho was safely returned to the family and was even present during the gender reveal for his twin sisters.

All families are unique in their own way, and Meirivone’s family is certainly no exception.
