My Husband Left Me for Another Woman After Mocking My Looks During Pregnancy, but I Got the Last Laugh

During my pregnancy, my husband changed. He mocked my looks, ignored my pain, and made me feel worthless. Then, he left me for someone else, thinking he had won. But what he didn’t know was that I had a plan of my own. And when the time came, he never saw it coming.

My pregnancy was hard. I was sick all the time, barely holding myself together. I thought my husband would support me, but instead, he became cruel—cold, distant, almost unbearable. I tried to push through, hoping it was just stress. But one night, he walked out, slamming the door behind him. I cried myself to sleep while he was out… with other women.

I found everything. Hundreds of messages, endless flirting… while I was carrying his child. But the worst part? It was right before I gave birth when he strutted through the door, a smug grin on his face, arm wrapped around some young blonde.

He tossed divorce papers on the table and smirked. “MEET MY NEW GIRLFRIEND, STACY” Then, as if to twist the knife deeper, he pulled her close and kissed her. Right in front of me!

I should’ve been heartbroken. Maybe part of me was. But something else took over. The years of love, the memories—erased in an instant. I turned and ran, tears blinding me.

And the second that door shut behind me, I smiled. He thought he’d won. He thought he’d crushed me. But he had no idea what was coming.

The day my divorce from Arnie was finalized, I gave birth to my daughter. Riley was perfect.

For a while, we stayed with my mom.

One afternoon, a knock at the door made me pause. When I opened it, I froze—Stacy was standing there.

She sighed. “It’s done. Your plan worked. Arnie signed everything away without even reading. The house, the accounts—he just handed it all over.”

“Thank you,” I said, giving her a quick hug.

With Arnie gone, Riley and I moved back into what was rightfully mine.

Then one night, shouting outside caught my attention. I stepped onto the porch.

“Stacy! Come back to me! Please! I have nothing left!” Arnie’s voice was raw with desperation.

I stepped forward. “You were played, Arnie. Stacy was part of my plan.”

His face twisted in confusion. “What the hell are you talking about?”

I let out a quiet laugh. “I hired her to seduce you. You were so full of yourself, you didn’t even notice you were signing everything over to me.”

His jaw clenched. “You’ll never find another man. No one will want you!”

I smirked. “Oh, I think I’ll be just fine. I look amazing, I have my life back, and I’m not weighed down by a useless husband. Meanwhile, you have nothing.”

Without another word, I turned and shut the door, locking it behind me.

I lifted Riley into my arms, holding her close. She was all I needed.
