Part 1 of 2

Prince George made a touching impression on royal followers during a significant royal engagement, giving many a glimpse of the poised monarch he may one day become.

The 11-year-old royal accompanied Prince William and Princess Catherine to a tea party hosted by King Charles and Queen Camilla at Buckingham Palace in May, in honour of World War II veterans and their families.

Admiration for Prince George’s Demeanour

During the commemorative VE Day event, Prince George was seen listening intently to the veterans, shaking hands, smiling warmly, and chatting with a calm and respectful presence that exceeded his age.

Guests included several remarkable individuals, such as a 98-year-old former prisoner of war, a 99-year-old Desert Rats veteran who participated in the D-Day landings, and a 100-year-old woman who had served in Churchill’s Secret Army.

Samantha Davidson, granddaughter of 101-year-old D-Day veteran Alfred Littlefield, shared: “George even asked my grandfather how old he was when he served.”

Images of George interacting with guests were shared on the official Instagram page of the Prince and Princess of Wales, quickly drawing admiration from the public.

Fans flooded the comments with praise:

“Prince George will be a wonderful king someday, just like his father and grandfather,” one user commented.

Another wrote, “He’s already proving he’ll be a great future king!”

Others noted how quickly he’s maturing and complimented his role representing the royal family.

One fan added, “You can tell he’s being raised right by William and Kate.”
