Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have always sparked mixed reactions from the public. While many people admire them, others are more critical — especially when new stories about the couple surface.
Recently, the couple shared a video to mark their daughter Princess Lilibet’s fourth birthday. The clip shows Meghan and Harry dancing in a hospital room before Meghan went into labor on June 4, 2021. They were dancing to the song The Baby Momma Dance by Starrkeisha.
The video was meant to be a sweet, fun memory, but it quickly sparked debate online. Some viewers began questioning whether Meghan was really pregnant at the time.
In her post, Meghan explained that both her kids were born a week after their due dates. “Four years ago today, this also happened,” she wrote. “So when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn’t work – there was only one thing left to do!”

The dance took place at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in California. But instead of celebrating the moment, some critics accused Meghan of faking her pregnancy.
One person commented, “Even a blind person can see the poorly stuffed belly is fake.” Another added, “Belly moving everywhere is not a pregnancy belly at all.” Someone else wrote, “She’s not pregnant.”
However, others defended the couple. “Why is it cringey? Fair play to them for being normal and not stuck up royals,” one person said. Another added, “Imagine being so salty about someone else’s pregnancy. This was a trend — have a look on TikTok. She’s not the only one dancing around in a hospital.”
