Injured Texas shelter cat was about to have her leg amputated — then came a miracle

Part 1 of 2

It’s a story that will have you believing in miracles: a Texas cat was set to have her leg amputated — but then something unexplainable happened just in time.

A 3-year-old cat named Cheesecake was taken in by the South Plains SPCA after being found outside a nearby Cheesecake Factory restaurant.

Her front leg was severely injured, and a vet said that the leg would have to be amputated, according to a Facebook post from the SPCA.

Cheesecake was put on strict cage rest and waited two weeks for her surgery. But just two days before the cat’s leg was set to be amputated, something unexpected happened: Cheesecake was healed!

The SPCA wrote that she could “miraculously walk again,” a development that baffled their veterinarians.
